Create a Blog
Go to a Content Area/Folder
Blackboard course come with two default Content Areas: Content and Information, located on the Left Menu

Click Tools tab
Click Blogs
Click Link to a Blog
Select Blog from the Link to a Blog area
Click Next
Fill in name and other necessary information
Select Yes by Available
Select any Standard Options wanted
Click Submit
Link to the Blogs Page

Delete a Blog
Hover over the name of the Blog
Click the arrow next to the name
Click Delete
Click OK
Advanced Options Blog Types: This offers a choice between the Blog being individual to each student or being open to the course. This is also where you select whether to allow anonymous commenting. Index Entries: This will organize the Blog posts by either month or week. Allow users to Edit and Delete Entries Allow users to Delete Comments Grade Blog: Selecting this option allows you to grade the Journal. You can set points possible and add a rubric if you wish.
